COVID Rental Assistance Program
Governor Cuomo has announced a COVID Rental Assistance Program offering
funding to tenants who have been impacted by Coronavirus pandemic who are
seeking rent relief.
Applications are open starting today and there are eligibility
requirements which can be found by heading to the Homes and Community
Renewal site here: https://hcr.ny.gov/RRP
If you are a renter living in NY State, have lost income between April 1st
and July 31st of this year, paid more than 30% of your household income
for rent before March 1st and your household income is below 80% of HUD's
Area Median Income, applications open today.
